Statement regarding safety of swimmers and limiting liability of the ‘Bold & Beautiful’ and it's members
Before signing up to join the ‘Bold & Beautiful’ or partaking in any swims mentioned on this site or the ‘Bold & Beautiful’ facebook page, please read the ‘Bold & Beautiful’ swim responsibility statement.  By signing up to join the ‘Bold & Beautiful’, or participating in any swims, you confirm that you have read and understand the ‘Bold & Beautiful’ swim responsibility statement and accept its terms.

‘Bold & Beautiful 'Swim responsibility Statement'
The ‘Bold & Beautiful’ is not able to assume legal responsibility to its members or others.
While we are always keen to share our passion for outdoor swimming, all swimmers must be solely responsible for making their own assessment as to the risks involved in any particular swim.

Swims arranged by members of the ‘Bold & Beautiful’ are not led or supervised by qualified individuals and no insurance is in place.
The ‘Bold & Beautiful’ itself has no control or influence over those who arrange ‘Bold & Beautiful’ social swims.
The decision to participate in any swim must therefore be taken individually, and swimmers must not rely (in whole or in part) on views or information provided by the ‘Bold & Beautiful’ and/or its members. If you are in any doubt about the safety of a swim or your ability to complete it, you should not take part.
Further, to the maximum extent permitted by law:
    1.    the ‘Bold & Beautiful’;
    2.    each individual acting on behalf of the ‘Bold & Beautiful’; and
    3.    any person involved in organising a ‘Bold & Beautiful’ swim
exclude any liability for personal injury, death or other harm or loss to its members or any other person or organisation as a result of their negligence or other breach of legal duty.

Data that  identifies a user is gathered during interactions with the Pacific Jules website in the following circumstances:

We seek feedback from our users in order to improve the website. Providing feedback is voluntary and appreciated.

No personal information is collected or retained when you vote in one of our polls
    •    Subscription Details 
Information provided by you when you register for email newsletters or request services will only be used for the indicated purpose. Your information will not be sold on to other organasation that are not affiliated with Pacific jules.
    •    If you are aged 16 or under, get your parent or guardian's permission before you provide personal information to the Pacific Jules web site.
